Admission to Premier medical institutions of India require qualifying AIIMS – UG Test conducted separately every year. Every year AIIMS-Delhi conducts entrance test for MBBS Courses in 7 AIIMS institutions across India. Candidates have to qualify an online test of 200 questions including; 60 questions each of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; 10 Questions of General Knowledge and 10 questions on Aptitude and logical thinking. The online test will be of 3 hours and 30 minutes duration. Marking pattern (+1 for correct, -1/3 for the wrong Answer) Qualifying the AIIMS-MBBS Admission test gives chance to participate in counseling for 707 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutions across India. According to the official brochure of AIIMS MBBS, in order to qualify AIIMS MBBS Admission test, candidates have to secure following percentile marks.
- Must have completed 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission.
- 12th Pass or appearing from recognized board.
- 60% minimum marks for general and OBC candidates.
- 50% minimum marks for SC/ST/OPH candidates.
